Asynchronous Online Discussions in Stud.IP
The combination of independently coordinated self-study and work phases with synchronous teaching elements makes blended learning ideal for university teaching. This often results in the separation of communication, with exchange taking place synchronously and individual learning and task processing happening asynchronously. But how can subject-related student interaction also be achieved asynchronously? Prof. Dr. Okka Zimmermann gives insight into her digitally linked courses and the asynchronous online discussions that she has held in different variants with Stud.IP courseware, provides tips and shows the limitations of the design.
